David Gordon
President
Born and raised in Southern California, my parents, Jim and Diane Gordon, founded the mission organization Youth Enterprises (YE), now Sport X Change, in 1960. Sports has always run through my veins and my entire life has been full of exciting adventures sharing the everlasting love of Jesus Christ, with many, south of the border and around the world. I met my loving wife Brenda while attending LeTourneau College, in Longview Texas. I attended Logos Bible Institute at Grace Community Church. In 1999, while raising my family in Florida and leading ministries to Latin America, a new chapter of my life began when my Dad passed away, and when God called me to serve as President of Sport X Change. Through 62 years of ministry I have witnessed the world dramatically change repeatedly. However, God has never changed, and His word, the good news of Jesus Christ, has been firmly planted in the roots of His happy and faithful servants. “so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11
