Bud Smith
Bud has served in pastoral ministry in the Evangelical Free Church of America for over 50 years. He and his wife Peggy first met Jim and Diane Gordon in 1976. Their first sports ministry trip with SXC (formerly Youth Enterprises and Sports and Cultural Exchange Int’l) was in 1977. In the years following they have participated in over 30 such trips to places like Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Curacao, Aruba, Venezuela, Peru, and as far away as Indonesia. He continues to stay involved in the ministry and to be supportive as a member of the SXC Board of Directors. They are especially blessed with three kids, three in-law kids, and nine grandchildren.
